This short video was from a walk & talk in April 2024. Some of the guys will have overcome huge personal hurdles since this time last year. DadSpace is proud to have supported 100's of men just like them over the last 3 and a half years.
The journey to finding yourself, starts by stepping into a DadSpace near you!
A quote from Carl, a Maidstone father who found DadSpace earlier this year:
A few months ago, I realised I was struggling to cope with the day to day stresses of life and being a Dad to two young, energetic boys. I felt like I needed to find a place where I could meet fellow Dads, who understood how I was feeling. Finding DadSpace and booking onto my first meet up was a hard, I didnt know what to expect, but I knew I had to do it for my myself and my family.
On the way to the meet up, I was both nervous and excited. Pulling up in the car park, I saw a DadSpace flag and a fella in a DadSpace hoodie! Walking up to Denver and shaking his hand, I felt instantly at ease. I could tell this would be a good thing for me. He said “Welcome to DadSpace, the guys are through there, there’s tea and coffee available and we’ll get started soon”.
Walking into that pub (which was closed to the public), I’ll never forget that feeling. I could hear conversations all around me, Dad’s of all ages talking to other Dad’s. Conversations from the highs and lows of parenthood. I could tell at that moment, I was safe, I had surrounded myself with strangers that had a collective goal, to try and be the best Father's we could possibly be. While we don’t know each other personally, we can all relate to each other about how it feels to have the best role in the world, to be a Dad!
Thank you DadSpace - Carl, from Maidstone.
So here's to all the Dads like Carl, that plucked up the courage, to help themselves and be there for others like them. By attending one of our sessions, talking openly and most importantly, listening.
Some guys need a little, some need a lot Some guys give a little, some give a lot But, you will never know, if you don't go...
See you at the next event!

The Income Tax portal is a great example of how digital services can simplify government processes. Everything from e-verification to refund tracking works seamlessly.
PM Kusum Yojana seems like a practical scheme for farmers who want to utilize unused land for solar power generation. It’s impressive to see the government supporting both sustainable energy and farmers’ livelihoods.
This is such a beautiful testament to the power of showing up. Carl's story—the nervousness, the moment of walking in, the relief of finding a space where "I was safe"—captures exactly why DadSpace matters. It's not about having all the answers; it's about being with others who understand the question. "Some guys need a little, some need a lot. Some guys give a little, some give a lot. But you will never know, if you don't go." That line is everything. For those quiet moments after a walk and talk, when the emotions settle, having a simple comfort—like a classic R36s Retro Game Handheld —can be a gentle way to decompress. Thank you to every dad who shows up, for…
